I recently had a men’s long double-breasted grey overcoat made at Michael Tailors in Bangkok, and I’m pleased with the result. The fit is clean across the shoulders and through the body, and the grey fabric has a nice weight without feeling stiff. The double-breasted styling holds its shape well, and the lapels lie flat without any puckering. Turnaround was exactly what they quoted, and the staff were straightforward about what options worked best for my build. No frills, no hype—just a solid, well-constructed coat that looks better than most off-the-rack options I’ve tried. Would go back for future pieces.
