Over the years I’ve struggled with store bought suits for me as they where too small or too big.
In 2018 I was at the MBK center in Bangkok and decided to try to make me a tailor made suit.
Michael Tailors was the tailor that I decided to try. From measuring to choosing the materials to delivery and fitting. It was all done in a professional excellent way. For the 1st time I had suits that fitted according to my body makeup.
Last week I was in Bangkok again. And well and behold I found myself at MBK Center again. So I decided to pay Michael Tailors a visit.
This time I decided to make two more suits
The experience was very professional again.

After reading reviews of the numerous tailors around Bangkok, I decided to visit Michael Tailors at MBK Centre. Walking through the mall I passed by several other tailors, slowing down at each one just to gauge their level of approachability - most didn't seem to notice me while some seemed to size me up perhaps based on the way I was dressed and decided I wasn't a potential customer.

At Michael Tailors I was immediately greeted by a staff, Robin, who invited to come in and take a look. He was very forthcoming with information on their services, fabrics, pricing, etc. I felt comfortable and reassured that I had made the right choice and proceeded to select the fabrics I wanted for 3 pairs of pants and 3 long sleeved shirts. Robin was very professional in taking my measurements and asking me my preference of styles.  Due to the choice of available fabrics and the affordable price point, I ended up getting an additional 3 shirts and custom leather shoes and reversible belt, another service they provide.

I was asked to come back the following day for a fitting which was amazing. I thought that I would only be fitted with a test garment or toile, but to my surprise all my shirts and pants were ready for trying. The fit was perfect and I was able to take back my custom made clothes just 24hrs after I had been measured. As for the leather goods, it was ready the following day and delivered to my hotel room promptly as requested.  I found the shoes a little too snug for my liking and they readily took it back after a 2nd measurement at my hotel. 2 days later, it was ready and a perfect fit.

I was impressed with the level of service and the quality of the finished apparel and would recommend anyone travelling to Bangkok to give them a try. They also do suits and jackets which I am planning to make on my next trip in March.
